I’ll be honest, you DO have to find contacts and show them your work, but once they agree to take on your Art, you deal with them as a client and they deal with selling to the public. In other words, you work with one person and have more time to create while they work with the thousands of interested buyers and do the marketing.

What is Licensing?

Licensing is granting (through a contract) a publisher or manufacturer, the permission to reproduce your Artwork on their product(s). They produce, market and sell the product(s) and send YOU the agreed upon royalties.

THEY sell, you create! The more agreements you have, the more royalties you earn.

SECOND Session: When you are ready, I’ll help you with what works and what doesn’t. This way you can make informed choices that will help you move progressively and productively forward. This is often the session where Artists are ready to understand contracts because by now they’ve got interested clients.

Do you know where to go to find opportunities?

There are a few books out there, and they’re updated yearly so you have to keep buying them and sorting through to find the updated information. Would you still know the one’s that are best for you?

How do you create a submission?

Agent commission fees range anywhere from 35-70% on the sale of your work and some galleries are now taking up to 75% of sales. Many agents charge an initial development fee and expenses in addition to those commissions. If you are lucky enough to be accepted by a reputable agent, you can generate a good income.
