What do you want to see happen in your life?

What Do You Believe?
I believe that whenever you have a dream, or re-commit to an old dream - at that precise moment things start to align in your life to begin making it so. The stars, the angels, the energy that is the universe, your friends, your family - all pitch in to help……

Yesterday I received a royalty check from art I created over 2 years ago…. and each month since I signed the contract, I’ve received a royalty check from this company for art that I created only once. Licensing allows me to keep getting paid while I enjoy the process of creativity.

Earning royalties is VERY DO-ABLE. It’s exciting, it’s fun and best of all you don’t have to spend years trying to figure it out all by yourself…. I can help you understand what to do and how to do it.

Where do you want to be next year? Do you want to be in a better place? You create your tomorrow by what you do today.

I began The Art Mentor as a resource for reaching Artists worldwide. Why? To “Help Artists Help Themselves” and I’m always looking for more ways to do this - I can’t help myself, it is who I am.

Where’s the money?
Times are tight right now all over the world and we can all use help. We all know what it’s like to be walking on shaky ground. Most of us are holding Read the rest of this entry »

I recently met Bonnie Kelso and was impressed by the quality of her art, her professionalism, and her enthusiasm for promoting herself. I am thrilled that she agreed to talk with me and give you some insights on how she manages her own career as an artist.

9/11 motivated Bonnie Kelso to give up a 12 year career as an exhibit designer, to pursue her lifelong dream as a full time fine artist. She began painting again just over two years ago and within that time, Read the rest of this entry »

Create a Master List
One way to get your creative juices flowing is to take your subject matter and create it again and again using different techniques. Start by brainstorming a list of ideas to create a master list that you can visit whenever you need a creativity boost.

Place your usual techniques on the list (to get them out of the way) and then take the time to look around you to add more. Try browsing Read the rest of this entry »
